FIND ME WHENEVER YOU WANT by Lavinia Braniste

A great read that got me hooked right away.

Lavinia Braniste built a realistic and captivating alternative reality that is so accessible and easy to identify with.

On the surface it’s a story about love, toxicity and the utter blindness you have when you’re in it. What starts as a spontaneous and fiery interest between two strangers on a flight, goes more deeply into connected subjects such as family relationships, self esteem, gender role expectations and religion beliefs.

The relationship between the two is intensely addictive but also clearly abusive. After all, how could things work out between a man so confident and mysterious and a woman who always carries with her the failure of all her previous relationships, on top of her parents’?

It’s one of those books that put into perspective the meaning of home and what we hold dear.

“Asa a fost si relatia noastra, ca acel container care era ceva dar parea altceva. O conspiratie a mintii tale, un loc din care iesi bulversat, pentru a constata ca l-ai iubit pe celalalt total si devastator si ca asa se poate iubi numai un om pe care nu-l cunosti. “
