DEAR EDWARD by Ann Napolitano

A deeply emotional and thought provoking novel that teaches us not to waste time nor love.

I felt the most profound heartache and joy as I sank into the lives of all the characters. There’s one particular bond that stood out immediately and that is brotherly love, which will soon turn out to be Edward’s greatest loss.

The plot of the story is so much more than just a plane crash itself and a one sole survivor. It’s about learning to live in a new reality, finding yourself and your purpose again after you’ve lost everything. But most importantly, discovering what it means not just to survive, but to truly live again.

I know it sounds heavy, but trust me, it’s written with such care that you almost feel a sense of hope throughout the book.

I loved it and totally recommend this absolute page turner, just maybe not before or during a flight.

“The air between us is not empty space.”

“What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult to each other?”

“Take stock of who we are, and what we have, and then use it for good.”
